Prayer to do the Will of God

O Lord,
regulate all things by thy wisdom,
so that I may always serve thee
in the manner that thou wilt.
Do not punish me
by granting my desire if it offendeth thy love,
for I desire thy love to live always in me.
Help me to deny myself
in order that I may serve thee.
Let me live for thee -
who in thyself art the true life. Amen.
